When I first learned about the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio (that magical 1.6 number), I thought it was just something that showed up in plants or galaxies.

But then I found out — it’s also in us! So I decided to try a little experiment: I grabbed a measuring tape and measured the length of my calf (from my knee to my ankle) and then my foot.

When I divided the calf length by the foot length, guess what? I got exactly 1.6! Like, what?! That’s the golden ratio! I was so shocked.

I never thought math could literally be inside my own body. It made me feel kind of connected to nature, like I’m built with the same secret code that’s in sunflowers and seashells. It’s not just a number — it’s part of who we are. Seriously, mind. blown.
